Poland-specific modelling considerations for power markets and battery revenues
Poland has distinct market structures and balancing rules that require a specific modelling approach. This section covers the key aspects of the Polish power market and how battery revenues are simulated.
Poland is modelled as a single national bidding zone, with prices and revenues reported in Polish złoty (PLN). Cross-market comparisons are presented in euros using a fixed conversion. The modelled revenue stack covers day-ahead energy, TGE 15-minute continuous intraday, FCR, aFRR capacity, mFRR capacity, and activated aFRR energy. Poland’s capacity market, intraday auctions, and mFRR energy are active markets, but are not included in this release.
This release publishes Central, Low, and High. The scenario adjustments are on the Scenarios page.
